There are amazing people in this world, buddy. And we are lucky enough to be surrounded by them.
I can't get over the generosity that people have shown us while we wait for you. People have given us gift cards, toys, diapers, all of the necessities, decorations, homemade blankets, and more clothes than I thought were possible to fit in your room. We have had neighbors, friends, and families offer to help any way that they can when your Mom goes into labor.
It's been overwhelming. But I learned something from this: you are going to have so many people around you that love you and want the best for you. So make them proud. Repay their generosity by growing into a generous person. As you grow, I hope you see all of this love and support and you are able to do that for others. There's so much negativity, anger, and hatred in the world lately. But I hope you can see through that and know that people are good. They are amazing. Just be sure that you surround yourself with the right ones.
Be a good person. Everything else will fall into place.
